Game rules:

The game applies Pirkanmaasoft's game rules with a few exceptions. Each player must know and understand the game rules before participating in the event. • Only players registered as machine gunners (KK) may use machine guns, with the exception of any fixed gun nests, whose machine guns are allowed to be used by every player.
  • Only players registered as snipers may use sniper rifles.
  • The safety limits are absolute and failure to comply with them will result in removal from the game.
  • The use of pyrotechnic, smoke or sound grenades is prohibited. The game masters may use smoke or sound grenades, but these will be implemented in a way that does not require players to wear hearing protection.

Game vehicles:

The game management may use ground vehicles and/or aircraft in the event. The game mechanics of these will be explained in the briefing before the game. Players may not bring their own vehicles to the event.

Bases and respawning:

Both teams use the offgame area as their base. The teams have their own routes to move to the game area. Respawning occurs every half hour. The red team spawns on the hour and half past, the yellow teams spawn quarter over and quarter to.

Radio backpacks:

Both sides have a radio backpack, which acts as a mobile respawning point. Respawning using the radio backpack is done by drinking the water found in the backpack. Once a bottle of water has been drunk, the player can immediately return to the game. The team can use the backpack as they see fit throughout the game.

  • The radio backpack's water is refilled from their own base.
  • Only a player involved in the game can move the backpack in the game area.
  • A player who has been eliminated can always return the backpack to the base.
  • The opponent's backpack may not be moved, but the water in the backpack may be looted.
  • If there are players from the opposing team near a backpack, respawning is not available.

Helicopter rides:

Players have the opportunity to get transportation to somewhere in the game area when respawning. Transportation is generally provided to both teams throughout the game, but the game masters may limit transportation for resource or balance reasons.

Lunch and partners:

Players will be offered pea soup from a traditional field kitchen. Some of Pirkanmaasoft's partners will also be at the game site.
